Sheldon S. Baker



Sheldon S. Baker obtained his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, graduated summa cum laude, and was selected to Phi Beta Kappa.   He graduated from the Stanford University Law School where he served as an editor of the Law Review and graduated Order of Coif.  Mr. Baker was a frequent lecturer on the operation of and transfers of closely held and family owned businesses, and succession planning. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of several for-profit and not for profit entities.  


Mr. Baker was a senior partner of Halstead, Baker & Olson.  He joined the firm in 1961 and became a partner in 1965. He is one of the four founding members of BOLD Law. 

Mr. Baker retired from the active practice of law in September 2015.
